Zen monks believe that the future can never be seen & the prediction of the future makes a false illusion. They never remember the past & predict the future. They concentrate at the very present time. It seems that there was the same belief in a galaxy in a long time ago, far, far away:

Don't center on your anxieties, Obi-Wan. Keep your concentration here and now, where it belongs.
将来は見えないものであり、その予測は偽りの幻影を作り出すと禅僧は信じている。過去は思い出さず、未来は予想しない。現時点にのみ集中する。これと同じ信仰は遠い昔のはるかかなたの銀河にもあったようである。
クヮイ・ガン・ジン心配事に気を取られてはならない、オビ・ワン。今ここにある集中力は、今ここにおいておくべきだ。
