The Smaller, The Better

Neoliberalists think that the smaller the government gets, the better the country goes. Their theory states that the government should cut tax rates & reduce its spending to generate the economic growth. Because an individual is more serious to consider about himself/herself in private life than about other people in public life, an organization they work at, or an entire country. Milton Friedman believed in it. He once said:

Governments never learn. Only people learn.
政府は学ぶことがない。学ぶのは人である。
